At New Tazewell Methodist Church, we exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ both within our current membership and beyond our walls.  We seek to spread scriptural holiness through our worship, our words and actions, and our local and global outreach.

The Chancel Choir at NTMC provides musical leadership for the worship services as well as special music at Christmas, Easter, and special church events.  Many members of the choir also provide solo and ensemble pieces to enhance the worship experience. 

The Praise Band shares instrumental talents to bring a different sound and worship experience for the church.  

NTMC is very blessed to have many people with the gift of music who choose to share that gift with our congregation.  The heart of our music ministry is our pianist, Linda Cupp, and the choir is under the talented direction of Dr. Jan Zieren. 

At New Tazewell Methodist Church, we strive to meet the needs of people of all ages, backgrounds, and situations.  Our active committees include Hospitality, Community Education, Outreach, and the Sew-N-So's.  These groups seek out the needs of their various focus groups and create and sponsor classes, activities, and events to meet those needs.  Our church also features such activities as Bible study series, covered dish dinners, exercise classes, Memorials (see our collection of stained glass windows), a grief support group, Thanksgiving baskets, and special Christmas and Easter programs by our choir.
